About
Nika Kiiskilä (s. 1991) on Keski-Pohjanmaalta Lestijärveltä lähtenyt ja nykyään Tampereella asusteleva sarjakuvapiirtäjä, kuvataiteilija ja taidegraafikko. Kiiskilän teoksissa aihepiirit pyörivät akselilla inhimilliset hirviöt, veikeät eläimet, hurjat olennot ja LGBTA+ -teemat. Hän tutkii töissään mielellään erilaisia tunnekokemuksia ja elämän alati muuttuvaa luonnetta. Hänellä on ikuisesti sydämessään paikka ihmissusille.
Nika Kiiskilä (born 1991) is a comic author, visual artist and printmaker from Lestijärvi in Central Osterbothnia, now living in Tampere. In their work, Kiiskilä's focus is in humane monsters, whimsical animals, scary creatures and LGBTA+ themes, and their comics range from scifi and fantasy to autobriographical works. They love depicting different kinds of emotions and feelings in their works, as well as the constantly changing nature of life itself. Also, they will always have a soft spot for werewolves.
